"I’ve had birds my whole life, and I never thought about keeping their little footprints until I saw this. Seeing my budgie’s tiny prints next to his picture honestly made me tear up. It’s such a small thing, but I know I’ll treasure it for years. I just wish I had something like this from the birds I grew up with."

"I bought this for my mom because she’s obsessed with her cockatiel, and finding gifts for bird owners is surprisingly hard. She absolutely loved the idea of having his little footprint next to her favorite photo of him. We made it together over the weekend, and she already has it displayed in her living room. Definitely more personal than another bird mug!"

"My little guy is pretty squirmy, so I wasn’t sure we’d actually get a good footprint. We took our time and got a cute little impression after a couple of tries. I love that it’s something we made together instead of just another picture frame. Now it sits on my shelf and makes me smile every time I walk past."

Frequently Asked Questions

Which birds is this for?

It's made for all pet birds, from small budgies and finches to large parrots. Small feet leave smaller prints, and bigger feet leave bigger ones.

How big is the frame?

The frame is 11.3 x 9.3 in (28.7 x 23.6 cm). The clay window is 4.7 x 6.3 in (12 x 16 cm) and the two small windows are 2.8 x 2.8 in (7 x 7 cm) each.

How do I make the footprint?

Knead the clay, roll it flat, then let your bird step on it, or gently press its feet. Be gentle and stop if your bird seems stressed. Once the clay is opened it hardens in the air, so get everything ready first.

What goes in the small windows?

Whatever you like: a photo, a feather, or both. They are not included in the kit.
